Hmm, so as I’m editing my latest novella I’m coming to realize that I may just have a ‘thing’ for writing oral sex scenes. Never realized it before, but for some reason my characters always seem to want to engage in this activity.
It’s interesting because I never intentionally start a scene with a set idea of what will take place, yet looking through all the novellas I have written so far all of them contain these scenes. And I must admit, these are some of my favorite scenes to write. I suppose part of it is the sheer intimacy and decadence of the act. Oh well, I guess I won’t question the inner working of my muse, as long as she gets the job done and produce a good storyline.
