Hey everyone. I’m still feeling a bit under the weather, so I didn’t get to do much writing for a few days. I am happy to say though, that I did complete an outline for the sequel to Riding The Storm (still untitled). Normally I’m not an outliner, but since the entire story is already in my head, I figured it was best to write it down before my brain turns completely to Swiss cheese.
The kids aren’t sick anymore, thank God. So, I’m gonna really try to power through this novella next week. Wishing you all lots of sunshine and warm breezes this weekend. Have fun!
From the pages of my rough draft
“Stay beside me.” His eyes locked on to hers, suffocating the breath from her. “I wanna kiss you so bad, but I won’t unless you want it too.”
Fire laced up her spine and blazed a path through her senses. It felt like she was about to jump out her skin. And all because of a man she barely knew. Charity licked her lips. God help her, she was slowly losing her mind to Jake. She opened her mouth to reply, but all that came out was a tiny whimper.
*sigh* Don’t you love those constricted moments? looking forward to the finished product!
I love those scenes. Live to write them. Thanks for stopping by, hon 🙂
I love your snippets! So enticing!
Thanks, Julia. As always you know I’m a big fan of yours too.
