Popping my head in.

Sorry for the late update everyone. Turns out my son Brent has a stomach virus he picked up from Kindergarten. Had to take him to the doctor yesterday and well, as to be expected my three year old Blake caught it too. Fun times… I’m trying to give the poor little guys some extra loving care while they’re at home.

And of course, editing has been slow, although I have been sneaking time here and there to do a few pages. Also if you are on my friend’s list on Facebook, you might have noticed that I announced that once again I’m deactivating my account. There’s quite a few reasons for that. However the main one is, I’m pressed for time as it is. I have lots of things I want to accomplish before the end of the year, writing wise and any distraction I can take out of the equation is for the best.

I love writing and I’m serious about it. This is the only thing I can see myself doing for the rest of my life, so I just really need to focus, focus and get my stories out there. Which also includes a move from novellas to writing category and novel length pieces. I want to try my hand at writing some IR stories in genres I’ve been hesitant to attempt before. Will I be able to do it. Maybe, maybe not. But I’m open.

Just like I’m open to share a bit more info about my upcoming book, Worth The Price. (Guilt, here people for being so slow with finishing up the edits on Jake and Charity’s story). I’ll update the page with more info soon.

Hero: Brandon Sharpe, Irish born cattle rancher.

Likes: Danika Prescott.

Dislikes: Anyone who steals from him.

Heroine: Danika Prescott, social worker.

Best trait: Loves to help. (maybe too much)

Worst trait: Putting her foot in her mouth at the wrong time. (okay so it only happened once)

Ah yes, the joys of parenthood! Always something! I deactivated my FB account this week as well. Not only had I been hacked, I really dislike the new look. Not user friendly.
    Hope everyone feels better soon!

Yeah, Julia. I feel really out of place on FB. I used to enjoy it in the beginning, but now, all it does is annoy me and take away time when I should be working. I’m over it.

Ohh poor kids..I hope they feel better..I would love to close down fb…I know the feeling..I have cut back a lot as well to stay on track…I know you will get everything done..

Thanks, Savannah. I mean I love communicating with readers and some of my friends on it, but on the whole, FB isn’t the be all and end all for communication. Plus, sometimes there is just way too much drama for me, lol. That I can do without.

Delilah I love your books and hope your littliest family members get better quickly. I do have a suggestion for the adults. I read the book Clean by Alejandro Junger and followed the cleansing plan he made up for two weeks and I didn’t get sick for a year.No colds, no flu, no migraines or even allergies. That aside your new book sounds great. Keep up the most excellent work.

Thank you S. I’m happy to say the boys are feeling better. Honestly, I’m willing to try anything to keep from getting sick here. Everyone tells me to get used to it, because everyone else is always sick. I will have a look at that book, because I’m just not looking forward to another cold. Just hope the plan isn’t painful, lol.
