I got too cocky it seems, because I’ve gone an entire year without anything happening to my laptop. Out of nowhere, my computer decided to stop working this week. Ugh. I have no idea what caused it, but it must have been something in one of my files, because according to hubby, the hard drive itself is still fine. Basically I had to have everything removed from my computer and start over from scratch. Yesterday it literally took me the entire day just to send an email to myself of the books I started. That’s how slow the computer became. I have no idea why, but I’m just extremely unlucky with computers, no matter how hard I try to take care of them. This go around, I’m just gonna try to limit the amount of things I put on it. I’m sure there are some of you out there who know what I’m talking about!
Anyway, I’m back online and doing another read through of Worth The Price, hoping to cut out any and all typos. But of course, only human. Here’s wishing you all a wonderful weekend.

Oh I have had this happen to me before and here is a great tip i learned from a friend. Download Google Drive. you can save files in Google drive and it syncs with your computer so even if you are writing on your computer if it’s a file synced with the Google program you can access it from anywhere. I had problems with my computer back in June and it almost died on me. Luckily i got a bonus from work and spent it on an Acer laptop. I love this one , no more HP computers for me.
I should have been more careful. I have Google Drive, but never really used it much. The only important things on my comp are my word documents, from now on after every chapter I will email myself a copy. I don’t know why but I always have problems with computers.
That is a bummer about the pc..It always happens at the worst time…Glad you are back up and running..
Definitely the worst time. It’s a mac, so in a way I got too confident because of how ‘strong’ they’re supposed to be. All in all, at least I lost nothing too important.
