Haven’t Abandoned Ship

Happy New Year. A couple of days late, but…Better late than never! Nothing exciting going on my end. Still taking it slow with the writing, since my plans for finding a daycare for my two (almost three year old) didn’t work out. Eh, that’s life. Plus, I’m really enjoying the time I spend with him during the days so it’s all good πŸ™‚

As for what I’m working on. I’m having to go backwards now, because I wanted to only pick up the story of Jake and Charity from where it left off, but I’ve decided to go back and start from the beginning with their first meeting and how everything came to that point and beyond. Might be giving myself more work, but, I like these two. That means, the parts you all have read will be included, but perhaps there will be a bit in between those chapters I posted. So please bear with me, if this takes a bit of time to get done. It will get completed!!!

And just because I’m a proud mommy. I have to share how cute I thought it was that my older son discovered his first loose tooth last week on the day of his 5th birthday. Then of course I had to put up with him and my husband making me squeamish by shaking it everyday to try and get it out. It’s out now and my little guy is showing off his missing tooth to anyone willing to look, hahaha. Blabbering done for the day. Happy Wednesday folks πŸ˜‰

That is too cute about your son losing his first tooth. My youngest had one that was loose for two months before it was force out. My husband, son and father – in – law all tried to take it out. All the tricks didn’t work either. My middle child was able to force it out. Big Sis to the rescue!

LoL. Men are funny. I do have some fond childhood memories though of staring into the bathroom mirror trying to shake my tooth out. And of course the time when my big bro accidentally knocked one out for me!
